R.O.B.E.R.T.'s Got Your Back
The Internet is great, but let's face it, it's a cesspool of malware, ads and trackers. The latter two exist on nearly every website you visit, so browsing the Internet is a bit like this:
This is why we're happy to announce the launch of R.O.B.E.R.T., which obviously stands for "Remote Omnidirectional Badware Eliminating Robotic Tool". It blocks various malware, phishing, ad and tracking domains at the DNS level, on our servers. It works on all existing platforms, including our desktop and mobile apps. Simply enable ad-blocking in the My Account section, connect to any Windscribe location, and you're good to go. This is what the advertisers will feel like, but who gives a shit, right?
This is the greatest thing since the invention of the Snuggie. Google it, it's awesome. But what's even awesomer are the benchmarks. Take a look at them here and see for yourself how great R.O.B.E.R.T. is.
TLDR; R.O.B.E.R.T. will make pages load 2-3x faster and save as much as 50% of your data allowance. Super handy if you're on a cellular network where data costs more than a college tuition.
